Waitlist & Resales

Waitlist

If a ticket you want sells out, sign up for the waitlist ASAP!

When you sign up:

  • You'll be placed into a first-come, first-served list.
  • Your card will be pre-authorized, but not charged. You will receive a waitlist confirmation email from Tixr.
  • By signing up to the waitlist you have signaled your intent to make this purchase.
  • If a ticket becomes available, we'll honor your request and attempt to fulfill your order. Your card will be charged. If successful, you’ll receive an order confirmation email from Tixr.
  • This system is automatic. There are no additional steps. No email is sent prior to fulfillment with options to accept or decline, so make sure your card is in good standing.

This year, the Waitlist now includes the option to use the Payment Plan. This provides anyone signing up with the option to split the total cost across multiple payments.

If your plans change, you are responsible for cancelling your waitlist order. Only you know when this should happen. There are two ways to manage this:

  • The easiest option is available when signing up: set an order expiration date that works for you. The default is 28 days prior to Campout (July 16), but you can update it depending on what you think is best.
  • At any time, you can access your Tixr account from Tixr's Home Page and cancel your waitlist order.

If you end up with a fulfilled waitlist order that you no longer need, just submit a Resale Request as soon as possible. Don't wait until the last minute.

Fan Transfers

If you want to send or receive a ticket, use Tixr’s Fan Transfer service.

This service is designed for anyone sending tickets to a partner or close friend. It ensures the ticket is digitally transferred to their account.

A digital transfer is important because  the ticket can be easily accessed by the recipient and because it can easily be pulled up and fulfilled using the recipient’s name.

If you’re buying a ticket from a trusted source and want to handle payment outside of Tixr’s system, make sure you get the ticket transferred to your account. To complete a Fan Transfer:

  • The recipient must have a Tixr account, or create it before a transfer request is initiated.
  • The sender must send the request to the email address of the recipient's Tixr account.
  • The recipient must accept the request to complete the transfer.

Resale Requests

Looking to resell a ticket more than a month out from Campout?

Honcho helps to facilitate ticket resales for most tickets while the waitlist is active. If you’re looking to resell a ticket, please fill out the request form linked on our ticketing site.

Resale Requests are not guaranteed. They're based on the level of demand on our waitlist. If we’re able to resell your ticket(s), you will receive a confirmation email from Tixr and your ticket(s) will be resold and void.

The cut-off for resale requests is July 16, when our waitlist system comes to a close. If your request is not fulfilled by that time, the resale of your ticket(s) will not be processed and they will remain valid.

TIXR Resales

Looking to resell a ticket less than a month out from Campout?

On July 17, we’ll activate Tixr Resale, a self-serve ticket resale system that picks up where the resale request/waitlist system stopped.. Tixr Resale is a service that lets you securely sell tickets directly on the Campout ticketing page.

  • A single and familiar location for buyers and sellers that’s easy to use..
  • Every resale ticket is verified, and then re-issued by Tixr.
  • When a ticket becomes available, it will show up as though a normal ticket is available.
  • All payments handled via TIXR.
