We are home. Trucks unloaded, dirt rinsed off but vivid memories still washing over. Together, we reunited with the land and set the tone for the next decade of Honcho Campout. We’ve never been more energized.

Nearly 600 artists, staff and vendors gave everything they had to build this beautiful world. Thank you for making this project possible. You continue to place immense trust and personal time in us, and we are eternally grateful. You are our family. And as Campout gets more complex each year, you dig in and somehow run it even more smoothly. We feel the love, and we hope you do as well.

To every camper who commits to Campout each year – THANK YOU. We understand this is not a small financial lift. Whether you’re grabbing a Reserved ticket or paying the way for others to be able to join – we hope you see real work being done with the resources you grant us. You are not buying a ticket to a show, you are funding an alternative queer world and ecosystem. One that we all get to play in and learn from over five days. You make this all possible.

Yes, Campout is a party – but the incredible challenges of the project provide space to experiment with grand forms of artistry, support systems and community care. Together, we create our own container to experience extreme joy and discomfort, to love, to grieve, and to practice the things we need to take back into reality with us. As the world burns around us, it becomes increasingly clear that collectively, we will have to build the systems and communities that we need to live and thrive in the future. Nobody else is going to do that for us.
