2026 Camping Updates & May 1 Release: Glamping, Wed Arrival Passes, Bus Tickets

Everyone attending Campout this year must read the following 2026 updates, whether camping traditionally with a tent, or picking up a Glamping tent, Wed Arrival Pass, or Bus Ticket. All go on sale tomorrow May 1, 3pm ET.

April 30, 2026

If you’re camping traditionally, make sure you read about this year’s  camping changes at the bottom of this post.

Wednesday Arrival Passes & Dinner

Each Wednesday Arrival Pass is good for one car with a maximum of four passengers, and costs $135. If you want to arrive on Wednesday, you must be arriving with a driver that has a Wednesday Arrival Pass. Any vehicles arriving with more than four passengers will need to pay an additional $25 per person.

WAP’s are available for camping in either Main Camp or New Camp. Arrival after Wednesday does not require a pass. If arriving after Wednesday, the venue charges $35 for parking, payable in CASH ONLY.

You will be able to purchase Wednesday Dinner as an add-on during the check out process. Please note: Wednesday dinner as a stand-alone ticket will be available for purchase on May 8th.

Bus Tickets

Round trip tickets on our chartered buses are available for travel from New York City and Pittsburgh.

Each ticket includes Wednesday Arrival, and 100% of proceeds go to support the Queer Fam Fund. You can purchase Wednesday Dinner as an add-on during the check out process.

Every passenger gets one carry-on bag and up to 4 pieces of camping gear stowed. The buses have a bathroom, air conditioning, and comfortable recliner seats.

Check the “Travel” section of the Campout website for pricing and more info.

Glamping

Glamping sales open Friday (May 1) at 3pm ET. Check out our Glamping section on the Camping page for prices, locations and options.

A few things to keep in mind if you’re new to Glamping or haven’t done it in a few years:

  • Wednesday Arrival Passes (WAP): If you’re purchasing a Glamping package, you’ll have an opportunity to add a WAP during the checkout. If you want to arrive on Wednesday, use the WAP add-on option so you don’t have to buy it separately. Leave the stand-alone WAP tickets for traditional campers and focus on securing your preferred Glamping location.
  • In Main Camp, we are adding more glamps to North Crook and Shady Pines locations. These areas feature power and are Quiet Zones. Perfect for folks looking to take a break from the action.
  • In New Camp, we are introducing two new locations: The View (insert TV show logo here) and The Glade.
  • The View is a newly leveled and seeded terrace overlooking the Great Meadow. It is located just beyond Critters Lounge and the group showers. The View will feature rectangular Safari Glamps and can accommodate up to two people (one queen or two twin beds). There will be a mix of traditional campsite space and new “Safari” Glamp packages along this ridge. Bell Glamping tents will not be available here.
  • The Glade is a series of glamping tents placed along the rim of trees near New Camp Wellness. This location features power and is close to The Grove, Critters Lounge, and the group showers.
  • We'll be offering a limited supply of coolers as an add-on, for those that would like the convenience of chilled drinks and food.

We’re making some adjustments to this year’s Camping landscape.

As Campout has grown, density has increased in Main Camp too much, while leaving portions of Four Quarters overlooked. Norovirus is still very real and nasty, and risk grows exponentially when campsites are packed too tightly.

We need to spread y’all out to bring down the risk. This is for health reason but also to create a better experience for everyone.

Here’s what we’re doing this year to help:

  • In the months leading up to Campout we will be introducing a new interactive map. On it we will highlight new and/or overlooked camping areas. This will help you plan your camping location in advance. For now, you can view our static 2026 map.
  • Four Quarters did extensive work over the Winter to flatten out new camping and glamping areas in New Camp (as previously mentioned in the Glamping section: "The View” ). There will be a LOT more room here.
  • They have also opened up previously restricted space in Main Camp, allowing us to reduce Glamping in Little Bottom and Glamping Central, creating more traditional Camping space there to ease things.
  • Honcho Safety Team will be managing the density of campers in Main Camp during arrival hours. Once areas in Main camp reach capacity they will be closed off. Please respect their guidance and have a backup camping area in mind.
  • We are increasing the number of Wednesday Arrival passes for New Camp.

Here’s what we need YOU to do to help.

  • Research and consider the new spaces. Don’t default into the main, overcrowded areas. If it feels too crowded where you’re placing your tent, it probably is. On the fence about where you’ve previously camped? This is your chance to find a great new space.
  • Keep your group camp sites as compact as possible – don’t be space hogs and spread out unnecessarily.
  • Stick to the essentials. No mega mansions.
  • Don’t save space for friends who haven’t arrived. No tarps, flagging tape or other clever methods. These will be removed.
  • If you have extra space around you, please offer it to others and help folks get settled as stress-free as possible. Put yourselves in other peoples shoes.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. If you need assistance, find one of our Safety Team members.
  • Remember: have a backup area in mind if your first choice has been closed off, and please do not give our Safety Team any shit. We’re trying to keep everyone safe and comfortable, including you.
